A very wild night indeed: cold (1 degree or so) and very windy. Very little sign of the badgers, apart from one rear view of one walking back to the sett at 2:18 and another walking into the woods, and not returning, apparently, at 3:16. Two dishes were refilled but only one was found and that wasn't finished.

Something about the animal captured in the photo below said "visitor" to me, but is it even a badger, and if not what else could it be?

Is that a badger?</font size>

Strange how the infrared cameras can ignore badgers and not mice. Perhaps badgers being large and well insulated and mice being small and "hot" against a cold background has something to do with it.
