The badgers emerged from the rear entrance just before midnight. The highlight of the overnight video clips was seeing the badgers chasing the fox away, twice. They're unlikely ever to catch him but seeing them behave territorially was nice.

The fox, undoubtedly, has caught on to the fact that there's food around. Being fleeter of foot than any badger he's willing to hang around for an opportunity to grab whatever he can.

Seeing off the fox. But he is persistent and soon returns. Which badger looks out afterwards?! The fox is chased off again. Does a badger wander off the beaten trail -- to the left --at the edge of the wood? A fox also went this way the other day. The field is to the right, over a small bank, and a dense bramble patch to the right.
